Brett started tonight in the game against the Panthers. The crowd went wild as he ran onto the field.

The defensive starters did not stay in long, but #99 was in long enough to put pressure on Panthers QB, Derek Anderson and causing an imcomplete pass.

Brett graded himself at a “B”, saying he “treaded water nicely out there after being told (by Coach Tomlin) that “he was going to be thrown in the deep end tonight.”
