An Old Lion

I like to paint people I admire. Brett Keisel is a former teammate and current friend.

The thing that I admire about 99 is that he is tough. Toughness is the most underrated quality a human being can have.

It’s not about natural ability, it is strictly a decision. One of the best compliments I have ever received referenced my toughness.

My first year in the NFL I was a cub, but an old lion took notice and showed me the ropes. My time in the league is over now, and I am more thankful than ever for what I get to do in life.

But this is me, paying respect to someone who is still out there hunting, and has been for quite some time.

I will always say THANK YOU TO AN OLD LION.
